The Governor's House, in Historic Kingston, Georgia, specializes in weddings and catered events that can be held inside the spacious Banquet Hall (2,200 sq. ft.) or outside in the expansive gardens.

The original house dates back to 1933 and displays the original hardwood floors.  The walls and ceilings of the upstairs area are of pine and were discovered during the restoration.  The antique-filled Bridal Suite occupies the entire upstairs floor.

In the living room, you can pause and rest on an early 1800's sofa that once belonged to President John Tyler, or sit at a dining table hand made from the finest South American mahogany.

Guests are fascinated by the collection of original autographs, celebrity photos and mementos that line the walls.  Everyone, of all ages, enjoy browsing over these unique treasures.

The gardens are magnificent, featuring a Koi Pond with a rock waterfall.  Guests are free to stroll along the garden paths and enjoy a lemonade while taking in the colorful and fragrant flora and fauna.

Food is a very important part of your overall experience at the Governor's House.  Our own Catering Chef will personally help you with your event.  Original recipes insure that your event will be unique and provide your guests with tantalizing dishes.
